Bio
"Two decades of friendship and love for electronic music - crafting tightly focused, funk-fuelled sets."
Born out of MAD Records - a much-loved vinyl shop in London's West End - glimpse.london is the brainchild of record-store owners Anthony & Helena Sergeant. Nearly ten years behind the counter forged deep ties with producers, DJs, promoters and agents who became both collaborators and friends. Three record labels were created and managed through the store, the flagship being Glimpse Recordings, whose first release - an Anthony Sergeant & Tom Yardley collab - quickly landed in the sets of the day's prominent DJs.
After a hiatus, glimpse.london re-emerges as the duo Anthony Sergeant and Pete O'Callaghan.
Pete O'Callaghan - Raised on the North-West Coast's "Leisure Peninsula," Pete fled to London's underground, haunting Headstart at Turnmills, The End, Fabric and a host of after-hours parties. He became a fixture behind the decks, curating monthly Signature Sessions at Public Life (Shoreditch) and Alhambra (Whitechapel), spinning at Ministry of Sound, Matter, Egg and Cargo, and hosting an eight-year stint on the legendary House FM. He's now back on air with glimpse.london via Music Box Radio.
Together, Pete and Anthony draw on two decades of friendship and love for electronic music to craft tightly focused, funk-fuelled sets. Their résumé spans Matter (London), Standon Calling Festival, Ministry of Sound, Watergate (Berlin), Harry Klein (Munich) and Rex Club (Paris).
